The global warming poses unprecedented risks to our society. Many researchers say that it is the humankind that is to blame for the global warming. So if it is our own fault, why are we then not capable of making our earth better again?
If you ask me, then I think a lot of people do not see this as a present issue. The majority might think that it is up to the future generations, to improve the world’s condition but after all the people that live here right now, those are also the people that has to raise the future generations. And if they grow up to parents who do not care about the current state that our earth is in, then why would they? I am not a particularly perfect example, on how we should be more sustainable. Maybe I occasionally throw plastic in the nature, and maybe I am not the best at recycling or getting my items fixed instead of buying new ones. But if I had parents that cared just a little more about the nature and was a bit more knowledgeable about the circumstances, then maybe I would be too.
My opinion is that we have to be more knowledgeable and more caring about the earth’s conditions, because I am sure we want all of our future generations, to have the best life possible. It is exactly that element that should get us all motivated to make the world a better place. Not only better for ourselves, but also better for the animal life, and especially the upcoming generations. We all know that we have a huge global issue, but it is not many people that are willing to make a difference.
