Argumentative Essay - Systemic racism Systemic racism refers to an ingrained culture of racism, that has played a larger role in the segregation within the American society. Racism and segregation are common concepts that for decades has been associated with America. Although the discrimination between the races has decreased over the last 100 years, the problem of the racial injustice is sadly still worthy of recognition in today’s society. Many people, often white Americans do not acknowledge that there still is a problem, but the difference in employment, salaries, wealth, handling of legal proceedings and general treatment tells us otherwise.
