Martin Luther King, Jr. was born in 1929 in Atlanta,. He was a son of pastor Michael King and Alberta Williams King. He was named Michael King, after his father. His father changed his own name and his son's name to Martin Luther King Senior and Junior.

Both Martin Luther's mother, father and grandfather were both very Christian and very religious. they had all been priests. In 1954, Martin Luther King became a priest.

Martin Luther King helped change American history and paid for it with his life. For over ten years, he spearheaded the popular movement that fought for civil rights and the right to vote for American African citizens.

After his death, he has been seen as a strong icon of freedom and equality.

I have a dream:

August, 1963, Luther King delivered his famous speech. His speech is called "I Have a Dream".

It’s all started with rosa park should give her seat in a bus to a white man. at that time, it was separated where blacks and whites had to side. the blacks had to sit in the back of the bus and the whites had to sit in the front, there were no more seats, so a white man threw Rosa Park away from her seat.
