I did choose this topic because I think that Martin Luther King was a very interesting person and because what he did, did chanced the world’s opinion on the black people.
Biography
Martin Luther King Junior was born in Atlanta in January 15, 1929.
His father named Michael Luther King Senior was a priest and his mothers name was Alberta Williams King. He is educated on Morehouse College in 1948 and on Crozer Theological Seminary in 1951 and in 1955 he became a Doctor. Martin Luther King was Leader for the bus boycott in Montgomery, when Rosa Parks didn’t want to give a seat to a white person.
The next day Rosa park was arrested and Martin Luther King asked every black people to boycott all busses in USA, in the start the boycott only should have to be a in one day but in the end it became over a year. Martin Luther King travelled to India were he want to meet Gandhi who was the peace fighter in India.
He got the Nobel prize in 1964.
After that he did go to many demonstrations. In Boston he met and married Coretta Scott, they got two sons and two daughters.
