My main topic is English speaking countries and I choose to talk about Ku Klux Klan

Why did I choose this topic

I chose this topic because of my personal interest. Since i was a little kid I have been interested in topic like KKK, Apartheid, the 2 world war and much more.

I don't know exactly why I like these kinds of topics, but I think it's because I'm so curious about the history of mankind.

How was the KKK a threat? What did the kkk believe in? Why is KKK a hate group?

I wanna answer all of these questions and much more in my presentation.

The history of Ku Klux Klan

Ku Klux Klan was a secret organization for white people in the United States.

It became an organization back in 1865 after the american Civil war where Abraham Lincoln tried to repeal slaves. But some white people wanted to see the black race as slaves because they believed that the white race was better than the black race.

The organization was started by 6 white people around 8 month after the civil war. Nathan Bedford Forrest was the first general of the klan but in 1869, he unsuccessfully tried to disband it after he grew critical of the Klan’s violence. The organization extended into almost every southern state by 1870 and in 1921 it already had over 1.000000 members.
