Scottish girl called Pangma-La (named after a mountain)
Her father is a famous mountaineer
Father teaches Pangma-La to climb a mountain (several years)
After many years she is ready to climb the mountain.
Whilst traveling to the mountain. Pangma Has a nightmare about disappointing her father. (Her biggest fear)
On the first day of the climb, a Sherpa woman appears and offers to help Pangma La by carrying her bag. (She denies)
Second day the Sherpa women appears again and offers to take the heavy things from Pangma bag, (she says yes because Sherpa promises that her dad won’t find out)
Settings:
Most of the story takes place in Scotland, but they also travel to an Asian country. I think the story takes place sometimes after 1927, where BBC, was launched, because the father is always in BBC news.
I think the story takes place in both real world, and also an imaginary world, because some of the things that happens, for example in page 21 line 5, where she give away her heart, is unrealistic.
