He expresses his view on teaching to the schoolteacher in the classroom in front of the students.Coketown is a very dark city, with many industrial buildings and factories with machines standing and working at the same monotonous pace. All the houses are the same, look alike the big streets look alike, and the small streets also look the same. Even the people who live there look alike.
