4. When he got home he saw that he’s doorknocker was the face of Jacob Marley, his old partner. When he saw it he got a shock but he said “Bah!” and smack the door hard, so it gave an echo. But he was not scared of echoes.
5. Yes, I would had behaved like Scrooge, and got more scared.
6. Marley’s ghost was white and he’s body was full of chains made by money boxes, heavy keys and office-books. The ghost of Jacob Marley told Scrooge that he will get an even longer chain than Marley if he didn’t censured about other people than himself. He also told Scrooge that there will come three Christmas spirits visit him. The first spirit will come tomorrow when the clock strikes one. The second spirit will come the next night at the same time. The last spirit will come the night after at midnight.
7. From a distance the first spirit looked like a little boy, but if you looked closer it was an old man dressed in white cloth, and from top of the spirit’s head came a clear white light. The voice of the spirit was soft and gentle.
8. When he was a boy he was often lonely and sad. He had a rush childhood. Very early in his life he was beginning to love money. He didn’t spend a lot of the money, gave it to charity or pay his clerk more money; he kept it all safe from other people, because he didn’t want to share with others.
