In the 18th century was London a relatively poor society. But it was also a country in development, which means that factories began to export nature resources, the number of inhabitants was growing, and England began to be a more powerful nation. The story of Oliver Twist gets influenced by those things, for example are Fagin and he’s fellowship supposed to steal, just to survive the daily life, and the way Oliver Twist describes London, improves how the industrializing had begun. In the book you’ll see two different kinds of the civilisation. You’ll see the orphan Oliver Twist who grew up in a Workhouse, and you’ll also see the rich part of the public, Mr. Bumble who earn money on the poor orphans, and Mr. Brownlow who owns a huge residence.
When I hear the name ‘Oliver Twist’ I see a kind boy who never had a chance to show what kind of person he is. Everyone he knows make use of he’s abilities except of Mr. Brownlow who offer him a confidently place to live. Actually he’s a pretty self-confidence boy, but when people treat him bad, he’ll loose this characteristic.
