Movie Summary of Oliver Twist - By Charles Dickens Oliver Twist is born and raised, orphan, in a workhouse, in a provincial town. Oliver is raised under the care of Mrs. Mann, and the beadle Mr. Bumble. One day Oliver pulled the short straw, and was challenged to ask for more food, at the dinner table. Mr. Bumble wouldn’t tolerate that kind of behavior, and Oliver got sold. Oliver was sold and apprenticed to an undertaker, Mr. Sowerberry. Mr. Sowerberry’s other apprentice, Noah, insults Oliver’s dead mom and Oliver gets mad, and attacks him. Oliver gets punished, and later on
