The movie ‘’The social network’’ (2010) is the authentic story about the founding and creation of the social media Facebook. It is based on the theme formed in the book ‘’Accidental Billionaires,’’ by Ben Mezrich. Besides this, it is directed by David Fincher and written by Aaron Sorkin.
In the beginning of the movie the viewers are introduced to the mysterious, arrogant and rude main character Mark Zuckerberg, who is the founder and CEO of Facebook. In one of the first scenes, at a bar, he is told by a girl that he is an asshole. This fuels his inner fire, and after returning home, he humiliates her by writing a negative piece about her in his blog. Hereafter he creates an entire website in one night dedicated to embarrassing girls, just to deal with his aggressions. The genius and respected Mark Zuckerberg we know today, is seen from a very different side than his current image, which can bring thought and intel on his inner personality. This is only the first introduction to who he is and what to expect from him during the whole movie. Throughout the movie we see how betrayal and power ruins friendships and creates ambition and success.
