I hope this letter finds you in good matters and high spirits. Since I left it has been a few months and a lot has happened. When I bid farewell to our homeland and started my journey to the "Land of Dreams", America. I felt motivated to share my experiences as I venture into this new world of people and different cultures, and I can tell you, it's far greater than I even expected.
The journey across the Atlantic was both beautiful and challenging. We were a lot of travelers who felt uneasy because of the ship constantly creaking and, active sway from the waves. Even through the difficult journey, I managed to create a couple of friendships, with my fellow travellers, so we kept our spirits high and imagined the destination of our journey. When I saw the land, I began to think of the new chapter in my life and the opportunities that were waiting for me.
Finally arriving at the shore of Ellis Island. The sight of the Statue of Liberty greeted us like a symbol of hope and freedom, and all the possibilities that awaited us on land. The process of entering Ellis Island was, detailed and close, but it felt safe there. The people greeting us were serious, but they treated us fairly and respectfully. We all needed to go through a medical examination, it was very careful, and it got me feeling a mixture of relief and a form of anxiety. Fortunately, I was measured fit for the new world that I was entering.
