I’ve chosen the history of South Africa as main topic, and apartheid as my topic.

Apartheid started 1948, after several wars between black and white. The whites won and came to power in South Africa. The white people feared the "black menace," as they called it.

Then the whites introduced apartheid. It became legal because whites said it was peaceful important experimental research. Witch the law later found out was a big lie. The resistance movement called ANC, which stands for The African National Congress, was made way back even before apartheid, to dismantle patterns of white privilege. And then when racial discrimination was legalized/apartheid, the ANC developed to a whole different range.

2. During apartheid

- Different policies - facilities, marriage, jobs ext.

Some of the first laws was already made the same year as apartheid started, like it was illegal to purchase interracial, and if you walked in a white man’s shop as a black man you would be arrested on the spot. Later on it got more specific, there were made four groups you were divided - blacks, mixed, indians and whites, location was also classified compared to race, restrooms, beaches, everyone else than whites couldn’t use the public restroom. The black especially was “stalked” also had to carry a pass with them wherever they went, so the white could control the movement of black South Africans and restrict where they could live and work.
