Africa separateness was a system of racial segregation in South Africa from 1948. Under apartheid, were people classified into races. Black, white, colored and Asian composed of Indians and Pakistanis. They were forcibly separated from each other based on racial groups that had been made. The blacks were sent to places that were called their "homeland".

The blacks had no rights. They had no voting rights or influence in the area they live. Training, doctors were also divided. The things that were available to blacks were far worse than the others. There was also the Passport Act for the blacks. Passport Act not only illegal for blacks to go to the white areas, but it was also illegal for blacks to move between fields in the white areas, but it was also difficult for blacks to move between fields in the white area outside signed passport. Black can’t be outside after sunset, and will always have their passports with them at all. It was difficult to two of the different races to marry each other.
