Then Melissa was 13 years old, he started to kill kittens and hang them on the washing-line. A thing he enjoyed. Keith was a truck driver, and he gladly showed the kids his truck and told them about the woman that he often picks up.

Keith told Melissa ‘’I have something to tell you, but I can’t’, you’ll tell the police.’’ At this moment Melissa felt her stomach drop.

Melissa found the big secret at a library though articles. She didn’t know that her dad was a serial killer and now was in prison.

After a few years she started to talk with some of her dad’s victims to know who they were.

‘’Let me tell you about the last time I saw my dad before he was sent to prison.’’. Melissa Moore shares her relationship and traumatic experiences with her dad in the essay. ‘’ He grabbed the cat, but to my relief he started to pet it. Then he began to pin the cat down with one hand and twist the animal’s head with the other. The animal was frantically scratching his arms, and we were screaming, but my father had that same strange look on his face - of enjoyment.’’.
