First we would need to know what the Second Amendment is, now the Second Amendment is also
known as the Gun Law of the USA. It states as follows, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to
the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”
Meaning that one has the right to poses, keep and carry firearms as they desire, for the use of selfdefense and to protect his or hers property and family. Now I’m not from the US so my perspective
may differ from what we see in the States. But if we think about why people would need to bear
weapons we need to look at when it was ratified. As the Second Amendment was ratified on
December 15, 1791. Meaning that the firearms of that date would be muskets or flintlock pistols,
that could carry the very ideal number of 1 round. As to the weapons today that can carry anything
from one round to maybe 300 or 450 rounds depending on magazine and gun types. That makes the
question, should the 2nd Amendment be changed to fit modern state? Would it help against crime
