There is a lot difference on the Danish schools and the schools in Denmark. For example you can’t drink, eat, or even chew chewinggum in class, in Denmark you can do whatever you want, it’s really much depends on the teacher you have in the specific class, we don’t have any overall rule for what you can do and what you can’t do. It’s also a state law in USA that you can’t use any electronical devices in the class, such as a cell phone or a mp3 player, again that isn’t anything like our situation in Denmark where we can use whatever we want, of course we aren’t allowed to use our cellphone in the class but we can use in the recess which is fair enough. In America the pupils aren’t allowed to pass the hall 10 minutes after the lesson is started, or in the last 10 minutes of the lesson. I don’t really get that rule because that’ll mean that if you are 1 minute late you won’t be able the make it before the lesson starts, maybe that’s why they have that rule – So then can see if people are late.
A thing I find really annoying is the dresscode here in USA, we can’t wear the cloth we want to wear because of the dresscode. In Denmark you can wear whatever you want in the school. I find this dresscode in USA ridiculous because I think everyone should be able to wear what they want, but over here they seems to live with it, actually they don’t have a choice.
