Titanic: En øjenvidneberetning

I was on board the Titanic on 15th April 1912, because I wanted to visit my family in New York. I was lying in my bed, when it all started. Suddenly when I almost slept, there was a big bang! People were confused. Nobody knew what were happened.

I ran up to the deck as fast I could. I just would know what were happened! When I heard that the ship was struck in an iceberg, I didn’t thought it was something big, just a little accident. I stayed on the deck, to get some fresh air. But I was totally wrong! The crew told us that water came into the ship, and lifeboats began to be filled by people. Some of the lifeboats were crashed because of the struck in the iceberg. Everyone wanted of course to come into a lifeboat, but there wasn’t a place to everybody. People pushed to each other, screamed and cried. Everybody was afraid! I was lucky; I came into a lifeboat.

The ship began to sink. It was terrible. Everyone tried to survive. Somebody jumped into the water, other fell of the ship. People saw their family and friends die. Everybody panicked. It was unbelievable. I really didn’t know something like that could happen! I was really lucky that I survived.
