One early morning Roberta is sitting on a chair looking out of the window, drinking a freshly brewed cup of tea. Thinking back to the time when she met and married Joe Porter, the car salesman. They lived in London, where Roberta went to school at Cover Girl Model School. She keeps thinking about Joe Porter.
In every lunch break she went down to a small café. With 6 month left of school, she met Joe Porter at the café. They began to talk, and agreed to meet the same place the next day. They continued to meet at the café over a month. They talked about everything, from school to Joe’s job as a car salesman. They began dating, and 3 month after she finished her school, they got engaged. Right after they got engaged, they moved together. It took some time before they got married, but when they did it felted right.
It seemed like their marriage went well, until she one day, one year after their marriage, came home from a little vacation in Manhattan, one of her friend told her that she saw Joe with another woman several times, while she was gone. After that she went up to their apartment, and sat in the chair, waiting for Joe to come home. When he came home, she confronted him with what she had been told, and he couldn’t argue against her word. So Roberta wanted to get divorced. She packed all her things, and went back to the hotel she stayed at when she was on vacation in Manhattan. On the third day she met Angelo Brandi, a fashion designer she also met the first time she stayed at the hotel. He invited her out for dinner. She told him everything that had happened. After the dinner he asked her out again, and he continues to do so. They began hanging out every day, and they end up getting really good friends. Before Roberta leaves, they promise that they would stay in touch.
