Surfer death mystery: en kort historie

The bass was pumping and the beach was overfilled with young students and people from everywhere. It was late and the beach-party had been on for a while now. The music was extremely loud, there were 2 gigantic speakers placed in the middle of the beach. There was a big campfire, and many people were gathered around it. Martin and his friends, Rickey and Daniel had been drinking pretty much that evening, they were fooling around with their half empty beers in their hands, dancing to the loud music. It was very dark that night, and the wind was very strong. If you looked out on the ocean you could see the big waves that splashed up on the big rocks beside the beach. Martin was running round on the beach yelling, screaming, and singing. Many thought he was very good at entertaining. Suddenly Martin ran out to the water with his surfboard, and jumped into the sea. No one cared about him because the others were just as drunk as him. Rickey and Daniel were standing, looking at Martin in the water, they were laughing and were having a really good time. But suddenly Daniel frozen, he pointed at something out in the water, about 15 meters from Martin. It was a shark fin, Daniel was sure. Then Rickey saw it too, I was the size of half a door, about a half meter long, it was really huge. Rickey and Daniel panicked, they were screaming and waving to get Martin in to the beach again. Martin hadn’t discovered the shark, and he couldn’t hear what his friend was trying to say. So he was just laughing and swimming further out in the ocean, unknowing that he might not return to the beach again. After a couple of minutes of yelling and screaming, Daniel decided to jump in the ocean after Martin, he knew that he was risking his life, but Martin was his best friend, and he wanted to save him, no matter what. Daniel stripped of his white t-shirt and swam out to get Martin back on the beach. The waves splashed over Martin, he couldn’t see in the dark, he was blind-swimming. Then you suddenly heard martin scream, loudly and clearly. Daniel heard him, and rushed out further in the water, and followed his scream. But it was too late, when Daniel reached him. Daniel went up on the beach again, with only Martin’s surfboard in his hands.
