An unusual day on work I started the day out with a quick shower. Then I went downstairs and ate some breakfast. I then took off for work. When I got to the beach I went inside the small lifeguard hut. My colleague Jane was already ready for work. I quickly changed into my red uniform and put up my hair in a bund. Then we went outside and observed the weather for a short time. We then raised the red flag. I then went back to sit in the sand beside Jane. We sat in the sand for a couple of hours. Nothing happend. Jane took of for her lunch break so I were alone on duty. Then suddenly something happend. A look around the beach and saw a group of surfers pointing towards a tiny spot far out in the ocean. I ran as fast as I could towards the speedboat. I jumped on the boat and turned on the motor. As I turned on the motor I could see Jane jumping onboard out the corner of my eye. A few seconds later we were sailing towards the spot. As we got closer and closer I suddenly realized that it was a person. He was waving his hand in the air the best that he could.
