I degree, with the unknown poet’s poem where he characterizes a ’winner’ and a ’loser’. The poem is called ‘How to tell a winner’. He describes how people fall into one of the two categories called a ‘winner’ and a ‘loser’, depending on your actions – or lack thereof. I find the poem extremely inspirational, seeing as the
poet literally tells you how to conduct in every situation in different aspects of your life. The spirit of the poem is basically that you should always grab every opportunity that comes your way, regardless of how diminutive and far-reachable your goal is. You should also stand by your mistakes, and most importantly; learn from them.
After all, the most precious life lessons are learned through your mistakes. If you just get defensive about your mistakes, and attempt to hold others responsible for your choices, you’re predestined to be an ostensible loser. Of course so-called ‘winners’ make mistakes as well, but the dissimilarity is that they learn from their mistakes.
You should always be in the search for something better, and not compromise your way through life. However, it seems moderately impossible and unrealistic to even imagine a person with that kind of attitude.
