Et brev til Columbine High School om tab og sorg

Dear Columbine High Schoolwe wonder why these things happend. Are this school not good enough? My son is dead. [NAVN B]. He was only 17 years old, and was a very good boy! He didn’t do anything wrong. He went to Columbine High School this year, because he was bullied. Mathew liked this school, because he could be himself. And everything was fine until the 20th April 1999. Today Mathew would have been 31 years old. we think he likes to get an explanation, how this could happen? There were these two guys. Eric and Dylan. How could they go into the school, in military clothes without any people didn’t do anything about it? I just don’t get it. They murdered 13 people in total, one teacher and 12 students. We think that this is completely ridiculous. If these two guys wanted to do this so badly, then why can’t they accept a punishment? They would know that they would have go to jail. But they didn’t wanted to, so therefor they killed them self. First Erick killed Dylan, and then Erick killed himself afterwards. We are very sad. In the beginning it was hard to move on, but in our family we hold each other’s hands. Mathew wanted to graduate, and become a pilot. He had very high expectations, but wanted it so badly. Mathew was our only child, and wanted kids one day in his life, but he didn’t make it. He was always happy, and a very accommodating boy. We had considered adopting a little boy, when Mathew died.
