The main character is Joey. His son named John. The story takes place in Southport in America. The story starts that Joey gets back from Thailand, he has been there for month. He’d bought Lacoste tracksuit to his son. The tracksuit looks like the ones all the young lads wear. He thinks it can be a good thing to buy, so they can talk again together. As he decides to give it to his son, he takes the train to Crosby to see him. But when he gets there to Joey’s place there is a girl, she tells him that John had cleared out, moved to Canada.

When he gets home, he empts the plastic bag with the tracksuit inside, then put it on. He feels like the other young lads nowadays.

He gets to barber to have a haircut. He sets on the barber’s chair, and then Maurice comes to Joey and takes the scissors and begins to cut Joey’s hair. They talk about how Joey’s hair to look like. After a while Joey’s mobile begins to ring. When Joey sees who is ringing, sudden he begins to panic because he sees that John ringing to him. Maurice take the mobile and talks to his son.
