Hey, I’ve chosen to talk about Liverpool football club. I chose that because I’m a fan of the club and my favorite player, Steven Gerrard, plays for Liverpool.
If it wasn't for one man, Liverpool Football Club would never have been born. When Everton left Anfield in an argument over rent in 1892, club chairman John Houlding stayed behind along with a handful of supporters and just three first-team players. But he was strong-minded to see football continue at the ground. He formed a new club from scratch, chose the name Liverpool… and created a legend.
Liverpool won their first title in 1901. After they lost 8 games and allowed their enemies to score 31 goals. Twelve games later and after nine wins and three draws, the title was theirs.
Winning the first title was great, but an even greater moment of Liverpool football club was winning the European Cup for the first time in 1977.
On what will go down as THE most incredible night in this club's unforgettable history. Liverpool reclaimed their crown as Kings of Europe after incredibly overcoming a 3-0 half-time score to defeat AC Milan at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul.
Anfield Road has been Liverpool’s stadium since the club was made. It can hold up to 45.362 spectators. The Kop is the most famous part of Anfield Road, where the most excited supporters stands. The people here are the most faithful fans, they start all the songs and stuff like that. The ultimate Liverpoolsong is named “You’ll never walk alone”
