Huron Wendake: historie og kultur

I met them, then I were I Canada and I sore there village. They had built an old traditional Indian village. And it was so fun to se. Now they live like us, I normally houses, they have EL and they have cars, mobiles and stuff like that. I think it would be fun to tell you about them and there history. Now I will tell you about the old people Huron Wendake and there history.

Short about the Huron

Huron is the name of some Indians who lives I Canada. They lived I the forest, in long tree houses. In a house could there live a hole family, there were beds, a fireplace and space to keep there things. There clothes were made by deerskin, and there were wearing shoos called moccasins’. Huron people were hunters, they hunt in the forest. Before they got the reservation, the lived all over Canada.

Then I visit the Huron’s I bought, a werry small totem, this I got is only 5 cm high. A real totem could be 15 meters high. My little sister bought a dream catcher. The Indians used them to catch evil dreams and spirits. A new born baby I the Indian family was protected by a dream catcher, so they were werry imported for the people. The mask who were hennaing outside the village, is a kind of protection against evil spirits in the forest. Moccasins were that kind of shoes that the Indian warred they were made by soft deer skin. The Indian warred them all the time.
