USA's frygt for kommunisme og Vietnamkrigen

In the USA they were scared of the communism, or just the Sovjet.

Under the World War 2, the USA and the Sovjet allied. They wanted to beat Hitler and take the power from him.

But apart from that, the Sovjet had always been a enemy to the USA, and when the World war 2 ended, the became enemies again.

It was not without a reason that the period after the World War 2 was called "The Cold War".

It is a race between USA and USSR, to get most new allies internationally. It was more or less about being so superior economical, technological, that you could take over the world domination.

The USA's excuse for going to war, places where they did not had any point being, was "to defend the World against the evil face of communism".

After China became communistic, and more and more communistic parties was set up, USA realized that, they had to walk in the front in the war against the communism. In NINETEENFIFTYFOUR president Eisenhower and the minister for foreign affairs presented the "domino-effect".

The domino deals with, that if just ONE country in Asia stopped being communistic, all the other countries would follow them and "fall" with them, just like a domino-effect.
