After having read Lewis' views on Facebook, I think that he is too critical. He sees only the negative in Facebook, and none of it positive. He criticizes the whole idea of Facebook, and what the point of it is. The idea of Facebook is being able to get in touch with other people in order to create a larger circle of friends.
I personally think that Facebook is a good invention. It is a good opportunity to get in touch with new people and get in touch with old friends and family, who lives far away. But in the other hand you use a lot of time doing nothing. There are a lot of fun games that you can spend a lot of time on. You can also see pictures that other people have downloaded from their computer. And it seemed to me is a good thing, because you can follow people's development, for example it they live far away, and you can’t be with them as much. I think Lexis is too critical, if Lewis hates it so much, he may just stop using it. It may well be that he only has 36 friends and only 4 of them he can call true friends. But I have 360 friends on Facebook and I know them all. It might be that I do not talk to them all, but I know them and they know me. Many of them I have gone in school with, others I have played football with, or against. Facebook is in vogue at the moment and everyone uses it. When something is in, everyone uses it, and at some point it will go out of fashion, and people need to find a new site to use. There are a lot of different sites, but some are better than others, and perhaps more safer.
