Abstract/ Indledning
Abstract
This paper is about the United States “health care reform” and why the reform is such a big subject for the American citizens. They are use to that you pay for your hospital visits and your own medicine, but in USA there is so many people without health care, and some of them, if they get sick, the die because they can’t afford the hospital bill, many insurance companies will not have those people there had a serious illness. In Denmark have we free hospitals at the public expense, it means that everyone have the right to come to a doctor if they are sick no matter how the salary look like. In this paper you get rhetoric analyse of President Barack Obamas speech from the 9th September 2009 about the health care reform. He wants that the American health care is public, so everybody have the same right to Medicare and Medicaid. In Denmark you have a lot of rights you don’t have in USA, but some people means that Barack Obama is a dangerous man, they think that he will turn USA to a big Europe. Because Denmark is not the only country in Europe there have free hospitals at the public expense. Germany was the first country in the world there makes a law about the citizens safe and pension.
