Amish

The Amish originally come from European countries, they come from mostly Germany, France and

Nederland. In 1730 the first group of Amish people went to USA, they settled in the city called

Lancaster Country, which lays in Pennsylvania. After that a lot of people settled in other states and

some settled in Canada. Today the Amish people lives in about 20 states in USA.

They was a group of people who meant that baptism was for adults, so they wanted to divide the

state and the church, they felt that the church was too slack about their discipline. This happened

during the seventeenth century.

The Amish people are Christian, like many other religious persuasion Protestants, Catholics. They

are worshipping a stiff kind of Christianity. The Amish people wanted every thing to be strict, the

church, the lows, their own culture, for instance if you had broken any of their rules, you will

immediate be expelled. Amish dress them in black and simple, and the women wear white dress or

black bonnet, according to if they are married or not. They have either Radio, television and video

recorter. No kind of modern things, with electricity and for that reason, they will not be filmed.
