At this point in the story Ian is being droved to his aunt by one, who works in the same company as his father, called Turner, because Ian’s dad has to work at the other side of the country, for six months.
Ian and Turner are driving, Turner is driving really fast
Suddently they drove into at horse and a buggy with two people in, one of them were a boy and the other one were a man
The two people, who sat in the buggy, had landed in the cornfield next to the road. The boy wasn’t injured and walked over to the horse and started to cry, the horse were dead. The man was, unlike the boy, injured. He was stocked under the buggy.
The man got free, and dragged himself over to the boy. The man was in pain
Ian didn’t believe what he saw. The two people were dressed in black and wear bonnets
The rain stopped falling, and the sun came
Ian wasn’t heart, and were on his way to help the two people when Turner suddenly asked if they were insured, and the man answer that they weren’t because that was against there religion
