My Visit to New York

Thank you for the letter from New York. It was very exciting to read all the information about you and your hometown. I’m looking forward to visit you, and I hope it will be a very great holiday, as I never will forget. Your hometown sounds very nice, and I’m looking forward to see it.

My name is [NAVN A] and I am 15 year old, and I live in Denmark with my family. I have one brother, one sister, and of course a mother and a father. I live in a little city, named Ikast. Right now I live at a Boarding School, as named Nøvlingskov Efterskole. It’s very nice, and I like it. Before I came to Boarding School, I didn’t make anything else than play Handball, being together with the friends and of course going to school!

I want to visit your country, because I have always had a dream about it, and when I see movies from the United State, it looks very nice, watching all the houses standing in front of you, and you are just looking up, because they are so high. I will also visit this country because a lot of the classmates from the old class have been there and told a lot about it, and I have seen some pictures from “Over there” and it looks very great! I chose New York, because I have seen a lot of movies from the city. I want to see it because it’s one of the biggest and most beautiful cities in the world. It’s my dream City!
