Yes ”Step up” is a dance movie, but don’t let that scare you…this one is definitely a MUST SEE!!

The plot is simple, but it works: We follow this totally hot character Tyler Gage (Channing Tatum), who lives in the poor suburbs, where crime and violence is part of everyday life. Then Tyler and his buddies break in to the Maryland School of Arts, and they decide to trash the theater and all the assessorys and props. A security guard discovers them, and Tyler get’s caught. Now Tyler gets punished with 200 hours of community service at The Maryland School of Arts. As Tyler cleans the school he watches this dance class where he discovers the beautiful and talented dancer Nora (Jenna Dewan). Nora is working on a dance to perform at the showcase. But unfortunately her dance partner hurts his ankle, so she needs to find a new dance partner. One day Nora sees that Tyler also has a dancer in him, and she convinces the school to let Tyler dance with her instead of doing community service. At first he doesn't take it too serious but then again, he's never had a real chance in his life. As they begin their training the tension and passion grows between the two lovebirds. They work hard together on the dance floor and they get more and more people to join the dance. With Tyler’s street/hip hop dance and the combination of her Ballet dance they create a great dance. But just when everything is picture perfect trouble approaches, their future depends on getting the dance ready for the showcase. They only have one chance, to make a perfect dance. They are two dancers, with two worlds, but one dream.
