Summary:The film is about, this guy called Jimmy or as his friends and mom call him: Rabbit or more specific B-Rabbit. In the very beginning we see Jimmy/Rabbit choke in a rap battle stage. The rap battle is host in this placed called the shelter by his friend; Future.
This group called the “free world” keep making fun about it and Jimmy is part of some fights with them. Jimmy, just broke up with his pregnant girlfriend and moved back in with his alcoholic mom, her shitty boyfriend and his little sister. One of Jimmy’s friends says that he can help Jimmy getting a rapping career started. Cause he knows this studio. When Jimmy enter the studio, he finds his friend banging, this girl called Alex. Alex and Jimmy have a past, and this make Jimmy really upset. At the end Jimmy rap battle against the free world and wins! He now know that he has to take his life in his own hands if he want something out of it, and is ready to work hard to get studio time.
My opinion of the movie:I think it’s a great movie! Really entertaining and you get caught up in it really fast! It’s different from what I usually watch, and I’m surprised that I like it so much.
