Moonlight is a movie about a boy named Chiron. He lives in Florida with his mother Paula. The movie separated into three chapters where Chiron is a child, a teenager and an adult.
Chiron is growing up in a black neighborhood in Florida where he is getting bullied at school. luckily, he meets Juan. Juan is becoming a farther figure for Chiron. Juan also has a girlfriend; her name is Teresa. Unexpectedly Jan dies at the end of chapter one. When Juan dies is Teresa becoming a new mother figure for Chiron, because his mother is addicted to drugs. Chiron goes through a lot of phases throughout the movie, and is ending as a grown up in Atlanta.
What I liked and disliked
I liked the story it is very interesting and inspiring too. I also like how it is a whole life story told in one movie, and how it is separated Childhood, teenage years and the live as an adult.
I disliked that Juan had to die in the start of the movie, I think it would had been great to follow him throughout the movie.
