“I have a dream”, this world famous line is said by Martin Luther King. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Son of a priest Michael Luther King, Sr. First time we got to know about him was through the civil right movement, when the first afro American woman refused to sit in the back of the bus and instead went to sit in front together with the white people and refused to give up her seat to a white person. His interests were to show basic rights in a country, there is no difference between a white and a black, only their character. “I have a dream that my four little children, will one day live in a nation, where they’ll not be judged by the color of their skin, but their character”. In context with the other text about Obama, it’s obvious for me that I should choose a character who should be very close to the history of Obama and his speech, about the past that Obama speaks about. After all, Martin Luther King is not only the colored people’s role model but maybe also Obama’s role model, as if Obama is just the person who finished Luther’s words into work.
