Rugby
Rugby is a full-contact sport, there is original from the 1800 century. Rugby is a bit like American football but rugby is without any form for protection which causes many damaged. However we use mouth guard. But of cause there are strings rules. Rugby is played all over the country and, Rugby can be played by anyone regardless of age, sex and physique. In Denmark do we have 27 clubs. There are about 7 events per year. There is 2 different kind of rugby. Sevens rugby and the normal game: rugby union.
Rugby sevens
Rugby is a variant of rugby union in which teams are made up of seven players, instead of the usual 15, with shorter matches. The game originated in Melrose in Scotland. The game is very popular on all levels and it played all over the world.
Rugby sevens is now recognized as an Olympic sport and will make its debut in the 2016 Summer Olympics. Rugby sevens is played on the same rules as rugby union and the match last only 14 minutes. In 1863 meet the rugby committee and is was in this meeting that the local butchers suggested to create a match were there only was 7 players on the pitch. The game was very popular and it spread all over the world.
