Racism

Racism have existed as long as we existence. Slaves is a good example. In the dark

age had primitive tribes slaves. In the Bible is there also racism, Moses people were

slaves. They weren’t valued so much as the Egyptians.

In the sixties there were a lot of attention on racism. The problems in the USA had

grown to a disturbing level. Apartheid controlled the country, especially in the south

states. White people were numb about blacks. There were a great need for a change.

Martin Luther King was one of the lead characters in the fight against racism and

apartheid. He became a symbol of that fight and with good reason. He had a

incredible strong mind, he fought non-violent against terrorizing and destroying white

people. Martin Luther King became world famous with his speech “I have a dream”.

In Europe we have also fought with racism problems. Because of a large group of

guest worker immigration in England, there became a lot of racism. Underground

gangs killed and ruined lots of the guest workers. When there became enough guest

workers, the government tightened the immigration rules. Racism was obviously a

large issue at that time.
