Racism is when white people often from the north part of Europe because not everyone from the north part of Europe got a dark colour. Therefore, they call some of the dark skinned people, nigga, wog or anything like that. They have created their own rule of racism. This rule the rule that says only dark skinned people can say words like that to other dark skinned people. It does not hurt them. When you place a race in rank, it is also racism. When you mean something bad about dark skinned people it is racism.
Nelson Mandela was trying to make peace between the black and the whites. He was fighting for they could live a life together instead of being separated. He made the blacks and the whites live together. He was on born the 18th July in 1918. He was born near Umtata, Cape Province. His dad died when he was 10 years old. Nelson lived in Houghton Estate, Johannesburg Guateng, South Africa.. In 1938, he went to a college. The college name is “The Wesleyan College”. Nelson was interested in South Africa’s past. He went to jail in 1962( 3 years for telling someone to strike and 2 years for leaving the country without a passport. In 1965, he got the lifetime sentence on the Island) “Robben Island”. He went to jail for 27 years and suddenly he walked out of the prison the 11th February in 1990. In 1990, when he was freedom, he was going to end the apartheid. Nelson died in the 5th December and Nelson was buried the 15th December.
