Smoking is a regular thing where I come from. Almost all my friends smoke, some more than others. It’s a sad thing, but it’s their choice most of the time. But sometimes people get pushed to do it, sometimes the little kids see the big kids do it and then they want to start just to be cool. Some of my friends started to smoke when they were 9 or 10! That is too early to say that it is their choice. But then their parents or teachers should maybe talk to them about smoking in a young age.
The thing about the smoking ban is mostly a bad idea. Of course we should live in a smoking free world, but to say people can’t smoke doesn’t help at all. People will smoke anyway, they are addicted to smoking. That is why it’s so hard for people to stop.
The kids are not always allowed to smoke in their school. On some schools you have to give the teachers a note from home that says it is okay. On others it is forbidden to smoke while you are in school. And then there are that kinds of school were the teachers don’t mind as long as you stay of the school area.
