Summary: The story is about a sixteen-years old girl Sarah, who is pregnant. She is living with her mother and her sister. She drops school because of her pregnancy, so she is just lying home in her bed all day long. Then there is this flashback. Her father is sick and he is dying, but the last four days before her father pasts out, she is just together with her boyfriend Daniel. That is how she gets pregnant.
After her birth she tries to take care of her baby, but after a short time, the tending begins to lack, and the less care she gives her child the less her mother and sister assists her.
She sits in a diner with the baby’s seventeenth-years old father and some of his friends, and the fathers carelessness, is frustrating her, but in someway she understands him, and thinks for herself that she would have done the same as him, just ignoring her, and go to the men’s restroom to get high on something. Then she asks the man beside her to look after her baby while she picks something up in her car. Instead she drives away, while nobody does anything to stop her.
