Sarah lives in London with her parents. Her father works for the king as a priest in a Protestants church. That job is well paid and they have a big house with servant and a stable full of expensive horses. The mother is drinking tea all day with other rich ladies.
Sarah goes to school in the morning and after school she sings in the church in the girl choir. When she doesn’t sing she plays the violin or riding some of her fathers horses.
Sarah has very fine clothes, her mother has a private dressmaker who designs all the families’ clothes. Sarah’s is dreaming about being a dressmaker when she is finish with her school. But her mother do not think that’s a good idea, she want her to be a fine lady who drinks tea like her self. Sarah has a plan how to convince her mother. Soon is it her mothers birthday and there will be a big party and the mother has invited the whole family and all the friends. The private dressmaker visits the house to talk about size and the look of her mother’s party dress.
When the dressmaker leaves, Sarah run after him and ask about if she could help to make her mothers dress, so she could convince her about being a dressmaker. The dressmaker said yes and they meet several times to do her mothers dress.
