Karakteristik af Jerry fra 'Tell the woman we're going'

Jerry is a guy who through his school years is living a very free and uncomplicated life. He is always hanging around together with his best friend Bill. Jerry cannot keep a steady job and he preferres to work places where there is no boss to keep an eye on him. When he gets married, he breaks out of the relationship with Bill. He now tries to find himself, as he feels that Bill is holding him down in their relationship as friends. In his marriage he is acting as a loving and gentle husband to his wife, but underneath he is not happy at all. He feels like his wife is holding him down and that she is taking his freedom away from him. It is clear that he has a lot of issues going on, due to his marriage, and he commits a murder in frustration in the end of the story.
