[NAVN A] is 42 years old and homeless, she has been living on the street since she was 16 years old. She has been taking drugs most of her life and have been a prostitute at the age of 16.

Her parents was drug-addicts, her father was on “heroin” and her mother took pills, they are both dead by a 0verdose. Her parents got a divorce when she was very young and her mother found a new boyfriend who was a heavy drinker, when he wanted to go to a bar and drink, he gave her mother the keys, to the locked, pill cabinet. And then she wouldn’t even notice he was gone, that resulted in a overdose witch she died of. One and a half year later her dad died off an overdose to. By then she lived on the street and prostituted herself for 5-6 years then she got work in a “massage-clinic” where she earned 7000kr each day, and that’s after she gave 450kr to the owner of the clinic. She spent all the money on drugs, and gave sex to men to sleep on their couch “that’s how men take advantage of girls” Helle started taking drugs at a age of 14 and have been on “heroin” most of her life, but one time she was “clean” for 9 months on rehab, when she got out she didn’t have an apartment so she had to ask her friends if she could sleep there, but she quickly found out that she didn’t have any other “clean” friends so she slept over at her dealers house and watched people take heroin for a week before she gave in and started again. At that point she didn’t eat unless she visited someone who was about to eat and got offered some, ”I didn’t get food unless I came when someone where just about to eat” she went 1-2 weeks without food sometimes. When she then finally did get something to eat, she puked it up again after. She felt very fatigued, she got into a hospital, and was told she was undernourished. So she got probe-food, at that point she weighed 40 kilos.Helle has been to prison 4 times, for robbery, document fraud, theft and violence. She got to prison the first time at the age of 24, 4 years. When she got out after 4 years, it was hard to settle on the streets again. She thought about doing a robbery more, just to go back.At some point two brothers broke in to her apartment, and raped her and beat her for 6 hours. Back then she was married to a guy, who was in prison. He had 13 days back on his sentence, he got out on parole. Then he ran away from his escort, and killed the brothers. He got 16 years. After 12 years of visiting him in prison 3 times a week, Helle got really sick of it. And filed for an divorce.now she has a new boyfriend “Jens” they live in an apartment in a suburb of Copenhagen. Jens are HIV positive, but that doesn’t bother any of them. Jens became homeless, when his wife died. His name wasn’t on the lease, so he was kicked out. Helle also has a son, who live with a foster family. And is 16 years old, she gave him away when he was 6 months old. When she started drugs again. “one day I said to myself: Helle. You have to give him away, or the government will take him” but he has lived in the same family for 15 years now, and they see each other often. He just calls if he want to see her, and they see each other on Helle’s birthday.
