Human rights have been an issue for many years and have developed a lot. Human rights is a lot of different things, it is children’s right to be protected, homosexuals rights to start a family and getting married. Years ago it was the slaves’ rights to freedom and proper working conditions.

But the concept of human rights is fairly new, and it was only rally a part of international politics, when the United States in 1948 adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The right to education

In this world we should all have a right to get an education, but not all of us got one. In Denmark it isn’t hard to get an education, all it requires is that you have the willingness to learn. All opportunities are there if you are willing to put in an effort. Not all choose to get on one, which is a shame since we in Denmark have the luxury of not having to pay for it ourselves. Not only do we get it costless, we also get a little money from the state “SU”.

In Muslim countries the women doesn’t have the right to get a good education. Instead they have to stay at home and take care of the children, do the cooking and clean the house. That is a big difference from the Danish women who often wants to get out and juggles both carrier and family.
