I have about the House of Commons in the United Kingdom. The House of commons is the lower house of the parliament in the United Kingdom. The public elects six hundred and forty six members of the parliament to represent their interests in The House of comments. Five hundred and twenty six members represents constituencies in England, forty in Wales, fifty nine in Scotland and eighteen in Northern Ireland. The polling period is maximum five years, where you afterwards can be re-elected. Their main functions are, to pass legislation, browse government and to control state finances. After the general election, the winning party is asked to form the government. Legislation in Great Britain normally happens in jointly with The House of Commons and The House of Lords. In time the power, and with that I mean Magten, has suddenly been moved to the House of Commons. So the power is being most used in the House of Commons.
The chief officer of the House of Commons is the speaker (another word for the chair man).
The name is derived from the legislative practice of allowing commoners to have a voice in the government.
