The book starts in year 632 A.F. (which means After Ford, the god of the New World). We are in a human hatchery in London where you hatch humans from eggs, because then they had no fathers or mothers to love. Lenina Crowne and Heryfoster works in the hatchery. They have been dating a little too long, so it could be dangerous. It is bad for people to be alone, feel love or read science. They could be punished for being in love. So Lenina decides to date another.
She dates a guy who is an alpha plus. Which means that he is a highly ranked person in the society. His name is Bernard Marx. He works with some people in a non social reservation in New Mexico. Not many people have seen un-civilized people before. Bernard ask if Lenina would go with him, and she does that.
Bernard and Lenina accidently meet Linda and her son, John. Bernard discover that Linda long time ago came from outside the reservation with someone called Tomakin. She got abandoned by Tomakin in the reservation and no one had rescued her. Some weeks later after she got abandoned she found out that she should give birth to Tomakins child. That was john that was born. Now she knew nobody would trust her about if she really came from the civilized world. But Bernard trusted her and took Linda and john with them back. After some time back in the civilized world, Linda began to get old and she got on a dying home. A dying home is a home for old people who will die soon. Now john was living at Bernard, and he was being called the savage from civilized people.
