The Brave Detective

Hi, my name is Dick Barlow, I am a CI at Seattle Police Department. Me and my partner Richard Walker is in the middle of an investigation. A young girl has been killed. It’s not the first time it happens in this year. 7 other girls have also been killed in the last 2 months. They have not been killed with a normal weapon. It is a antique dagger there killed them.

We are on our way to see the crime scene, where the young girl has been killed. It’s in an alley in the middle of Seattle. When we arrive is the investigation team already there. The moment we walk into the alley one of them comes towards us. It looks like they may have found a piece of evidence. They have found some blood; they are going to test. It may be the killers blood. Suddenly I see a shadow in the darkness behind me. It may be the killer. I run towards it, the shadow sees me and begins to run. When I reach the end of the alley it is gone, just gone. Richard comes running behind me. He asks me who it was. “I don’t know, I say, “But I am going to find out.” Then I look down and sees a manhole cover. Did he climb down there? I’m shouting to the investigation team that they must examine the manhole cover right away. “I want a plan over the sewers in this area”, I say to Richard, “Now let us get back to the station, and think this through” I hope they will find something on the manhole cover.
