Because it’s a topic that’s very interesting and in Denmark we have several problems with integration but America have integrated millions of immigrants.
Personal Interest:
I am very interested in American people. America is the only country, which has that many different races and nationalities. It’s interesting to know, who the real people are, behind the world’s most powerful country
Discussion of the topic:
What was Ellis Island?
What was the 3 periods?
What kind of people took the chance, and moved to America?
How did they adjust to the new country?
How do they adjust to the country today?
US have integrated millions of immigrants, why aren’t the Danish immigrants fully integrated, like the American immigrants?
Conclusion:
The immigrants, who entered America, were full of hope. With that hope they have build the most powerful country in the world, with that hope they integrated in the American society, and now 100 years later, their grandchildren are American, and not Italian and German.
