It all began, when Jessminder was playing in the park with some guys. Jules, walked in the park, and spotted Jess. She thought, that Jess was good. Actually so good, that Jules asked Jess, if she would like to come to Jules' footballteam to play once. Jessminder accepts her invitation, and arrived on the footballfield, when the training began. The trainer, Joe, was not very pleased, when he saw, that Jess didn't wear any regular sportsoutfits, but turned glad again, when he saw Jessminder's brilliant footballskills. Jessminder did really love the footballplay in Jules club.

One day, her mother found out, that she went to football, when she was not allowed to. Jessminder's mom and dad, talked with Jess, about that she had been lying to them. Her father felt actually okay about it, but her mother was very angry at Jess. “You must show us some respect, young lady!” her mom said. Jess was really mad at her parents now. Why should her parents always tell her what to do, and what not to do? Jess' mother would teach Jessminder how to cook a very good indian dinner. Because that was, what a nice lady should do!

Jessminder continued to play football with Jules, but her parents didn't know. One day, some news did arrive in the footballclub, that some talentscouts, would come to the big final in the girls league. The dad heard about it, and he would ensure, that she could not make it to the final match. So when Jessminder's bigsister was about to be engaged, her father planed her sisters wedding day, so it would be at the exact same day as the big footballmatch. When the engagementparty was about to be held, Jess was sad. Her father allowed her to go to the big match even though, that Jessminder's mom would not give him the permission to do so. When Jess and Jules had played, the scouts would talk to them. They've been chosen to come to America, to play football and to study. Joe and Jessminder kissed in the airport, and said goodbye to each other, before Jules and Jess took the plane to the destiny, USA.
